Biography of
Ms. Wei Xi Zheng
As a child,
Instructor Wei Xi Zheng
learned to play guzheng from the renowned Zheng master Xun Zhi Wang. Ms. Zheng had
performed with the Shanghai Film Orchestra and taught at Shanghai Culture
Palace and Childrenˇs Palace. In addition to her active role in
teaching, Ms. Zheng had traveled to Japan
and other countries to give guzheng performances.
During the past 30 years, Ms. Zheng has been
devoted to guzheng performances and education.
Since setting in United
States in 1994, Ms. Zheng
has been a dedicated teacher. She currently teaches at Chinese Guzheng Music Center
.

鄭偉僖老師自幼承古箏名家王巽之先生,曾服務與上海電影樂團,并先後在上海文化宮,少年宮任教,亦曾赴日本等國演奏.三十多年來鄭老師對於古箏之演奏,教學及推廣不遺餘力,自一九九四年移居美國後至今一直擔任專職古箏教師,現任教於中華箏樂中心.
